Running LS engines on break-in stand
I have an engine run stand that we test and break-in 1st and 2nd Gen SBCs. What do people do to run LS engines with throttle bodies and stock intakes? I know there are total after market setups but does anyone use a system from near stock parts to run these engines? Can the Edelbrock ignition box be used with a stock ECM and harness? I keep dragging things home from the junkyard and want to test stuff too. Think it was 100 degrees today but I found a 6.0 LQ4 and had to pull it before it disappeared. Thanks.

Re: Running LS engines on break-in stand
The more I look at this the throttle becomes problematic.

www.howellefi.com makes wiring harness conversions to run the stock ecm , that eliminate the vats system , and other non essential systems |

Tried to send you a PM, but your box is full. I may be able to give you a hand with this. We met last year at Alamo City Motorplex at the bracket race and I'm local to you. Send me a PM and I'll give you my contact number. Kevin |
