Try and not catch a crack on the top end while your looking anywhere but forward. Return road is tight, scales if used are old. Does get hot and there and not a tree to be found.
Now the good things. The folks that run it are super nice, Rick Carlson usually announces and is very sharp. The staging lanes and all that are nice. Fallon is a nice little town with friendly people.
Did I mention it gets hot there. Bring water and shade!
Best I've seen the fields get are about 25 stockers and 15 super stockers.
They have golf cart races and E.T. pot races usually during the weekend.
Plus a whole lot of qualifying passes.

Forecast is mid to high 80s...

Be advise that there is road construction on US 95 just north of Coaldale Junction. US95 will be closed and the traveling public will be detoured to US 6 to SR 360 to Mina and back to US95. Construction is to repair roadway damaged by earthquakes a couple of weeks ago.

lf you are coming up US 395 after going over Montgomery Pass take a left on SR 360 to Mina and back to US95.

That's US 395 to Bishop, then US Rt 6 into NV, then 360 to Mina

Track is about what you would expect
for a small town/small market local race
track.
But the people are very helpful and friendly!
Track is a way out of town or any services.

Do not expect a big crowd.....Some years
back when Jon Jr. won a Divisional there
and set O/SA Record = Only 22 Cars in Stock
which is as low as I can recall out here in Div. 7

Here in Vegas = We have had to take the fastest
128 for eliminations and a few guys went home without
racing. I loaned out our 80 Mirada to one of our crew guys and
he was #128 @ .41 under ( Bumped out Robbie my other son ).

Everybody out here would love to race.....But no worries about
having to qualify fast enough to race in Fallon Eliminator.

Years ago I use to say Fallon is at the end of nowhere because you have to go through the middle of nowhere to get there.
