Great story, John. Anybody that has drag raced for any time at all can surely attest to some of the trials and tribulations while on the road or at the track. Just getting to the track and back is half the battle.

John, your story could have been ten times longer!I have a great story of my first trip there in '77. Will never forget it. (Bill Mitchell, Richie Sullivan, Rick DeLisi, Endres' blower explosion...) But '85 was the best! I'll comment next week after JD's article.
