According to Wiki, Ford introduced a 136c.i. V-8 in 1937. 2.6 x 3.2 bore and stroke, 6.6:1 compression with 60h.p. and 94lb/ft. It was known as the 60 horse flathead. Don Jackson

I've never seen one in a Ford but my father owned one before my time, didn't have a high opinion of it. The V8-60 was used by Simca up into the 60's, years ago I had a neighbor who owned one.
