Brian - any idea why these areas are roped off?

Is it because of soft ground in the pits?

Or is it because those areas are being reserved or saved for some other purpose?

I can understand saving a spot for a friend. But to tape off 4 and 5 spots is BS
You should only be able to save 1 spot may be 2.thats plenty

Reserved for other racers, BY racers, i hope this yellow tape deal will stop, first come, first serve. i can see 1 spot, but not 5 to 8 spots, not fair to the first guys who arrive here and end up in the field.
