Car must be a 2005 or older vehicle. IHRA fighting like mad to not increase the eligibility year. Need to work on them to increase. Problem is getting specs to tech the cars. Just much easier to tech a regular stocker. Few Tech people can check a Pure Stock Cam. One is recovering in the hospital now. Would like to get IHRA to change a limited Spring Rate Rule. Measuring Lift like a regular Stocker. Think the decision would be popular. Might bring in a few full fledge Stockers. Sure would increase reliability. Dan,
I guess what you mean by the checking of camshafts in pure stock is more difficult do to the checking of duration and overlap as compared to just lift in a stocker???? As far as specs goes it take so work but you can get them from the manufacturers. Idid it! IHRATech already has them for the 2014 Mustang 3.7 V6. So if they ever decide to lift the year limit ill be good to go. Tony K. |
