We had a body fitting, cowl fitting, and dash panel building morning. All still in rough draft form, yet, serious progress with "Dolly," Stay tuned for more updates soon.

Our "Dolly" project continues to make good forward progress. We are closing in on the small items and checking them off the list.
We plan to fire the engine about two days before Christmas ![]() Look closely and see small red laser dot. Those marks give the paint man a way to align the panels without being on the chassis. And a 7" converter is, well, small. Note the more inboard blot pattern. |

YEA! Dolly has fired up!
She sounds great, we are very pleased and excited. A few minor knick knacks and adjustments and we are ready to track test. Our focus now is finishing body and paint work. More updates soon. |

after hearing Dolly fire up I think the 327 in the Super 10 would make a good starter motor for Dolly.
She is going to be a bad girl. |

It seems reasonable that with the new year we have new lessons. And this is certainly true for Team Woodfin and especially for the senior member of the team.
The 2017 season marks landmark happenings for us. Jeff's roadster is nearing race ready and Saturday brought some serious computer lessons. These photos show our computer programmer/tuner, Dave Deramus working his trade. Dave spent several hours with us designing and loading the basic program. With each test running Dolly sounded better and better. Near the end of the testing session, Dolly would get on the 5000 RPM two step before Jeff could fully open the throttle. |
