MCR has received its first donation for the Make A Wish race. Wade Opp (Top Dragster racer from Thunder Valley) with the help of NU STAR have donated $1000. Thank You Wade for helping MCR & Make A Wish!

Another great Make A Wish race! Both days where perfect weather with 71 cars each day. Sat Rick Wessels won over Steve Scherschlight - Ron Roddel no 1 qualifier. Sun Jason Deforrest over Tom Lewis - Al Corda no 1 qualifier. have to mention Jason donated a large portion of his winnings to Make A Wish Thank You . The other winners of this race where the Make A Wish children and there familys these people endure so much it is a pleasure to give them a great day at the races. MCR needs to say THANK YOU to a few hard working people that helped make this race happen Watertown Ford Chysler the backbone to this race and MCR - Midwest Factory Finishes Charlie & Vicky for your support and personal help - Bob & Sue Sherwood for all the help and Dust Control - Cheryl Jones ( Cheryl has helped every year with the Make A Wish children) - The TVD staff with the best starting line crew we have had the pleasure of working with - Jerry Nash & Tim McVay for pictures and video - the rest of the MCR board of Directors for the forward thinking and best S/SS racing in the nation - and all the S/SS racers who attended.
