I'll take a guess that the key lock on fender is for an "old school" alarm system.

Ken, on Todd's car, it puts it in "VALET" mode when the AHFS is active.

It looks like an Alarm that was on some older corvettes from the factory.

OK, so i've been slacking off a bit but things are getting back to normal . ClassRacer always brings you up to date on the latest gossip and dirt but this one will knock your socks off.

This weekend finds our own Division One engine builder / tuner , longtime Chrysler Corp driver and General Manager of Ray Barton Racing Engines - David Barton who recently won big time in a Camaro COPO is trying to prove what he's been telling us for years - if it's got wheels and an engine I can drive it - but this weekend things are different - he's in the Cook Bros. Cobra Jet Mustang and is chompin' at the bit -just like one of the Derby Stallions last week.

Go get 'em David .................

Photos and videos of the day. I only saw one record set. Tex Miller in F/SA I believe. I will get more info later. Testing is done for the day. Temps got up to the lower 80's and it was not ideal for record setting.

Here is a little different take on my normal videos. I had the go pro inside the Cook Brothers car and also had a my other camera going with an outside view on the same run.

Good morning all - The expected rain hasn't arrived and has now been pushed back to sometime this afternoon according to the TV weather forecasters this AM which is really great news to us as most figured today was a total washout .The Sun is trying hard to burn thru the clouds and may win out soon.

Me? I'm going to enjoy a cup of tea and start getting ready for some racing today .....

Later ....After I find out if the schedule has been altered .
