Installing it would seem to even the playing field and I don't think it would take spectators long to understand it. |

My last post above may have been misleading in that when I started by saying "Bingo" I "was agreeing" with Jim Caughlin's post about the necessity of using blinders on the tree for it to be fair.
Without blinders in larger handicap starts the faster car will always have the advantage of seeing the red light and therefore knowing what he has to do to not loose the round. As a result it seems to me that with blinders on the tree the playing field would more level than it would be without them. When the race is heads up or the handicap start is too close to obtain the advantage of being the faster car- it wouldn't matter nearly as much. Just my 2 cents...

Not much to do for the rest of the weekend but be a spectator. Lots of close races as usual. Conditions haven't hardly varied all weekend. They just called all the sportsman back to the lanes for their last round of eliminations today. Time to go watch.

Good runs in G stick Bob, congrats. Wish I was there enjoying the event. Looks like an A+ weather race , slightly warmer than where I am, 1 pm and 18 degrees. Not complaining , good snowmobiling temps. Some very good runs, good lights and dead on stuff. Good luck to all
