Default Re: NHRA 2016 contingency list

I was just thinking after looking at the contingency list that when our car comes back out it will look pretty bare...........

Most of the manufactures will not pay for products over 2, 3 or 5 years old..

Guess that we have to throw out our old rods, transmissions, converters, pistons, cams, weather stations, valve springs, oil pans, rocker arms and head gaskets............................

Is this a great program or not...........

I always liked the way the car looked without decals............

Bob

I'll have a lot of decals to remove.

Add wheels to that list also, looks as though you need the latest and greatest Weld Wheels to be eligible for contingency this year.

No new wheels for me............

I have 8 Monocoque wheels that work just fine and in a few years you would still have to replace your Welds to get $$$$$$$$$$$$ ..................

So why bother???????????
