Default Re: Roller Cams in Stock Eliminator?

Want to make racing cheaper? Fold up stock, anybody who wants a cheaper easier racing just run Super Stock. You can buy all the best parts your heart desires.

For the rest, bracket racing is alive and well in the rest of the country. You can run an engine that will last for 100's of runs

If your blowing up valve train parts, chances are something is off in your valvetrain combo. To aggressive of a camshaft, wrong geometry, running the engine to high in the rpm range, ect. Time to work on your combinatio. Go find somebody with a spin tron and start testing parts, talk to your engine builder about a solution. It isn't always about buying better parts to solve a problem, its about finding the right combo for the ones you have.

Guys with LS engines in new Camaros were having trouble with ROLLER lifters. Just ask Dan Fletcher, he is one of the guys that come to mind. Roller lifters break all the time, remember that.

Keep changing rules in stock to parallel us to Super Stock, when they get rid of our class in a couple of years then the ones who cant or dont want to afford a full blown SS can just go away quietly. Would be better for our wallets for sure.
