This was the first race I went to in Miami in 1971 where I received best appearing car after it was painted.

Pomona 1972.

I set the SS/GA record in 1974 at 11.26. The next day ran 11.13 in a time trial.

I restored it in my shop and painted it close to the way it was raced in the 70's,

Awesome ,love it!!!

This one was donated to me in 1977.
An original 283 stick Impala 6 passenger.
We set the R/Stock record three times, and won the Orlando divisional that year,
I converted it to a PG and sold it to Frank Tantillo in 79.
From there, it went to Parker Bros., Kevin Fuller, Moreheads, then ? .
It ended up in the hands of some good ol' boys in Pa, when "Bucks" Mullaney won Div 1 with it about 15 years ago..It's still there, last I heard.

I Never knew that wagon that Bob Mullaney drove had that history. I think he got to the semi's at the Keystone Nationals with it that year. He can drive slow cars better than just about anyone and adapted to that car real well. Probably was deep staging it back then.

I am looking for any other pictures of this car. I am trying to decide how I want to finish it. It was cut for an update and work stopped.
