You guys are a killing me, Sunoco has been INCONSISTENT all year long. It's not a secret. The money you guys spend on your engine programs and you run Sunoco ?? I would not put that stuff in my Weedwhacker. M.J.

I hope the money Sunoco paid NHRA to be the "official fuel" was a one year at a time deal. Maybe won't be the case next year.

If NHRA will not look into this where is the division director and tech director? Why aren't racers being taken care of?

My condolences Mr. Yago. After your performance at the Class Nationals was looking forward to seeing you tear them up!

If you remember, the problem surfaced not too far in the past and cost a Tech official with years of experience his job. At that time,Sunoco responded that they did not like the way their fuel was tested. That same dismissed official made two posts on here that really did not garner much support from the racers. Nobody from SUNOCO stood up and apoligized
for the fuel problem. So, 1 NHRA tech official lost his job as a scapegoat and the fuel problem continues. You would think that SUNOCO would have had their act together for the the biggest race of the year. Guess it really wasn't that important after all.

As one who was involved in this mess, I will speak the facts as I know them. George Yago and Randy Wilkes were DQ'ed for fuel, having bought my fuel from Sunoco within an hour of George's, I thought that I should have my fuel checked before eliminations. I had 2 previous fuel checks in qualifying with fuel that was purchased at the Class Nats 2 weeks previous and passed both times, now I purchased fresh fuel at this race and it FAILED.😡 The NHRA guy, Ken, was sympathic but could do nothing. I tried speaking with Russ Bradford from Sunoco, as he is the guy I was told was in charge, he was absolutely no help as he kept saying that there was no problem with their fuel!👿 I am lucky as I am only out $60.00 for 5 gal of fuel, but George and Randy are out a lot more. I have supported Sunoco as they are the official sponsor of NHRA, but now must reconsider. Their customer service leaves something to be desired.

i like the weed waker line we've been using Rockett Brand 118 for years
never a issue all brands were tested years ago and R/B test'd best overall
its clean, not hard on parts, and that means more perf, and there's a guy
in ocala his name is Garlits he sez the same thing, he's probably worked
with more fuel than anyone. just my 2cent's
