Default Re: Early Nova Front Suspension

Toe in causes scrub, not wander, as others have stated. You need about 1/8" toe in at the ride height it has at the finish line, and it needs about 2-3 degrees of positive caster. All of your front suspension needs to be fresh, not worn, and it needs to be the good heavy duty stuff. The car should be aligned with the front end at the height it runs at, and with your weight in the seat.

Early Nova's have horrible front ends and must have good front suspension stuff. Also get someone wo is good to do front end alignment. I always forget what they are called but the two front bars that go diagnle to front rad support/subframe are important to check. Most people never replace or check wear on those.
