Thanks Julie,, I'm surprised it was only 88 today,, figured it would be hotter. The heat is supposed to ramp up throughout the weekend however.

Yes, thanks to Julie Jordan and Ron Durham for all the helpful info they have provided. The last weather info that I saw said 89 today, 98 Saturday and 96 on Sunday. Hot yes, but I have been there when it was well over the 100 degree mark. I guess the heat is a factor this weekend, didn't see anyone 1.00 or more under index in Stock or Super Stock. Also, looks like the Warter family are still having issues with the new comp car. I know it has been VERY frustrating for them. This statement comes from talking with both Jim and Ryan. Anyway, thanks to all for the info and good luck to all the racers at Woodburn this weekend.
Weather update - today at 5:25 - 88 degrees 100 Sat and partly cloudy 96 Sun and sunny

I have seen the qualifying sheet on DRC and will have to revise my comments from my last post. I was going off the live timing pages and my brain wasn't figuring runs versus indexes well enough. One car in S/S and Stock made runs 1.00 under the index. I know racers have to be careful and not go 1.20 under thanks to the AHFS and all that means, but I love it when they let it loose and run it out the back door. Just me talking, so don't yell. Anyway, I also saw that Ryan made a decent run in the comp car. Still not where they want to be, but at least in the right direction. Good luck to all today. I know it's going to be HOT today and tomorrow, so get plenty of liquids and stay as cool as possible.
