From someone who has been around big corporations in management I can tell you once you get a boys club in place it is hard to change the mind set for operations.
A huge mind set change is what NHRA needs which will mean a change at the top and many of the underlings.
Without that nothing will change.
With NHRA I have no idea on how to facilitate that change without a owners/shareholders/members vote of some kind which will never be allowed under the current rules for the so called non profit.
Just My 2 Cents

Now I am on NHRA's black list.
Really I guess all the loyal member/racers really are.

James I've never knocked class racing itself. In fact, 95% of my negative stuff is targeted at NHRA, specifically at the leadership. I've stated in the past class racing and it's racers are in control of it's/their destiny. You also need to see things from where I stand I've grown up around the sport, lived it in SoCal, Florida, and your neck of the woods (yeah all my junk is parked for economic reasons and I'm not racing right now, but I'm not just a "keyboard" racer). I am pro IHRA, S/SS association, tracks, and for an NHRA "new management". I only throw rocks at broken glass as I do post positive stuff too...mainly responses, although I do post "congrats" threads and other class racing news worthy topics.

I don't believe in standing and taking abuse, but "be heard or be gone". I hope you can respect that going forward. And yes, you too have a right to your opinions.

I have read all the articles and I don't really think they are replacing Tom Compton. Evidently,he is away from his position due to Personal reasons and the NHRA isn't going to reveal the reasons. We can speculate all we want but I am going to sit back and enjoy the ride. LOL.. Tom, you and your family are in my prayers. M.J.

M.J. That was a class response. Knowing you, that does not surprise me.
