Bob, Thanks for the update's from the track, Much appreciated . I'm curious about your brake deal. In a different thread on here, brakes were discussed. The consensus seemed to be that drum brakes hold better on the line. As such, I scoured E-bay till I found a set of Drum spindles, drums & backing plates for my Cougar..I'm assuming your putting 4 wheel disc's on @ Mandella's. I'm just curious the advantage the disc's will bring to your car.

Less rotating mass and less unsprung weight.

Actually the reason I'm changing my brakes to Lamb's are because my current 4 wheel disc are not very good and after driving my wife's car with Lamb's there's no comparison.

Bob, your bucket of bolts is quite impressive. Final 4 cars at Indy in Stock Elim. and you are the only racer to beat Charley Downing in Class Eliminations. Props....Regards, ....M.J.

Rd2 in the books for stock. Most people were about 2 hundredths slower. On my run the weather was 64.7F 59.7H 28.99BP 1789DA. Steve Wann broke a gear set and John Calvert unfortunately had the hood on his Mustang blow open on his run. Fortunately it only happened a few hundred feet into the run. Just started running Comp.

Bobby DeArmond is back up and running. Lost oil pressure on his first round and slowed, engine knocking.
