As for the 289 67 Fairlane GTs, I think they were not that common, I have only seen 1, and it was a 2 barrel car.

Just something relevant that I dug up on Cougars. In 71 Mercury made 500 something GT cars but in 72 they made 311, I think, as such the 72 GT Cougar is not in the NHRA guide.
