Weather has changed significantly right before first round started. Wind changed from cross tail to a very strong head to cross head. Temperatures dropped about 12 degrees very quickly. The following are heading to round 2:
-BJ Bianchi Vs. Brent Darroch -Randy Eakins Vs. Jimmie Hutto -Kevin Locklear Vs. Kevin Riner -Ed Longhany Jr. Vs. Me

Track drying has been under way for almost two hours. It is cloudy and cool, but it has not been raining. I would think we should be starting within the next hour.

Ed they run heads up races at normal points meets just not the TOC?
Also, drivers got upset one year at Memphis I believe in 2012 when they had to draw cards for pairing for some reason(rain out or something) and Ihra said it would have heads up and the drivers threw a fit about it. Can't please everyone.

Regular points race, in Texas, they announced no heads up races. Therefore no need to worry about the scales either. Heck, just call it a bracket race. That was my last IHRA race.
Who would complain about having heads up races? No real racer. That is the normal way Super Stock is run.

Car caught on fire inside the trailer, on way home from testing. Completely destroyed car and trailer.
