True Story. Trust me. When we took our Top Stock motor in 09 (which was the basis for the 360 DP motor), we sent the manifold to Wilson, had injector holes put in the thing, put a Fast system on it, 1000 cfm TB, made 10 less. Just to be sure, we put the carb back on the thing, and it made 10 more. Wilson said that is the case because the fuel starts atomizing higher up. The low and behold when NASCAR got EFI, the injectors are in the top of the manifold instead of near the head. Who knew? RJ, you could be the manager of my tote-the-note lot. You are qualified. Now about that 780. We had a 750 double pumper on the TS car.

And, people cry about the fuel injected cars having an advantage. You guys aren't the first to find this.

Ed, we thought we had something wrong. I guess the manageability is worth the effort, but if that system don't work right, it Nightmare On Elm Street. We have had problem with more than one system losing sync and just firing and blowing things up from the starters, to a rod out the side and all kinds of other Alien things.

Thanks Tom, but every thing that I wrote about the cfm of the carb vs. t/b is a given.

An errant 16 volt battery charger killed two ECUs for me before I figured out what was happening. One at Ennis, the other one at Noble. Thanks to Slate for loaning one to me at Noble. Would have been no problem with a carb.
