Don, you have been pretty vocal about people possibly using electronics in SS for a while. If NHRA is finally going to check, why the heck are you giving everyone a heads up that they will be looking for this? This seems counter productive to the cause of catching any cheaters.

Last week at the TOC, I was .015, .012, .003, -.001, .012, .005, .007, .003, lane to lane, day to night, over three different days. I have in-car video of all but two of the runs. I footbrake, no 2-step. The previous week, other than an errant .030 from the car not leaving right due to a leaking fuel rail, I was no worse than .024 in two different cars at two different tracks over four days. It'd be great if someone could tell me what I'm doing so that I could bottle it.
If someone was cheating, would their lights be better or worse than this? I guarantee you I'd be worse *with* a delay box. Even on a practice tree, I'm just 'average' off the top, and worse, I don't really have a feel for what kind of light I hit. A transbrake and 2-step off the bottom might help a tiny bit, though. That being said, I can't drive the stripe to save my life, and Shaq would destroy me in a free-throw contest.

Michael, if you can figure out what you are doing when it comes to cutting good lights, and bottle it, I'll take 50 cases LOL.

Anyone is capable of having a good day hitting the tree at any given time. Even the guys who race a lot and win a lot make mistakes and miss it, that's just human error. Stock/Super Stock racing has become way more competitive so you are forced to better yourself. Just about everyone is better than they were ten years ago.
