No Jack ,they had no choice but to refund the money since they did not think far enough ahead to plan a rain date !
Everyone knows it never rains this time of year in Reading. All advertisements for the Dutch said raindate TBA , That infers that an alternate date will be announced. How many racers would come if it said " if it rains too bad were not going to hold the race? Sorry but both Maple Grove and D1 leaders screwed up this one with poor scheduling and deserve no credit for "generously"refunding our entry.

Exactly my point .
With no rain date this season , how many racers do you think were going to leave with a promise that their entry would be good "next year " ? This was the one time that someone in charge realized that it was best not to piss anyone off more than they already were over the cancellation .
