No offense to you rog, but i race in Stock elim. & what NHRA did to us at Etown was terrible.

Then after that prob SS,SG then Stk Class rd.1
I was just getting done with my first time run & had to do fuel check & heard them call Stock rd.2 back to the lanes.
They did change the run schedule after the Etown race. I think they got a lot of angry racers on that run schedule.

It was: Stk, SC, SS, SG, then back to Stk. at the next couple of races that followed Etown.

But i think as long as they get 2 time runs in, First Rd on Thursday wouldn't be horrible.
Now that it's October you really can't send 165 mph cars down the track if the sun is down. I seen lots of accidents at M.G. in the past once the sun was down.
So maybe that is NHRA's thinking to run 1st rd. on Thursday, no offense SC & SG racers.
