Track dryer is working. We seem to be in a long lull in the weather. Maybe in the pm, and as I type this it is sprinkling again. Maybe late pm.

Yesterday, I was waiting for sprinkles to quit on the starting line, and I was somewhat surprised when starter Mark Lyle came up to the car and chatted with me a bit. He seems like a great guy, and he seems very concerned about the well being and safety of racers. If you get a chance to talk to him stop by and tell him hello. I think when racers speak there minds about track conditions, they are no longer falling upon deaf ears.

Last year at the Gators, Sunday afternoon, as I was pulling my Super gas car around to the water box, the same thing. Started to sprinkle. I got out of the car and like you, Mark came over and we talked for a few min. I expressed concern over how the track may be and he agreed and had us go back to the pits. He didn't want to send us down a track if we weren't comfortable with it.

Going to be a hurry up deal when it clears up.
At least I had time to figure out what happened to mine during class. Took my MSD box up to the MSD trailer to be checked. You can hear spark jumping inside. Car is loud enough I could not hear it there. Only sparked the coil erratically. Was driving my tach nuts. Think I'm ready for first round if it ever dries up.

Edit: Just started raining harder again. Think it's about nap-thirty "up in here". LOL
