Chip has a beautiful Nova, and Roy has an awesome Camaro. Both are pictured in Dragrace Central photos for Darlington. Both cars represent the "Heartbeat of America" well! Chip, welcome back to Stock.

I didn't know there were pictures on that site until you posted this. I went back and looked through all of them this year, I found Jamie Southards, Hillarey Sloan, several of Robbie Hudlow and some of Anthony Bertozzi, but I didn't see us anywhere.
![]() Thanks for point that out Stacie, I enjoyed looking at the pictures. Last edited by Angela Macy; 09-06-2007 at 06:33 PM. Reason: adding the wheelie comment...ha ha |

Angela,
I think the requirement is shiny wheels! Maybe my wheels will be in the living room this winter and we can polish them. It also helps when I have racing withdrawal to have the racing smell in the house. Good luck this weekend at the combos. We will be at Jackson, hope to see you there.

Already waxed the car and polished the wheels (such as it is... I tried some stuff on them last year that was not kind to them, and now they only get 'so good' even after polishing). 'bout time! Poor car gets raced a lot and needed some TLC. Really hurts your feelings when you park next to Terry Knott, Jim Boudreau, and now Chip's new car.
![]() Chip's car is absolutely gorgeous on the inside, too. They really did a great job on it.

I recommend the power ball attachment that goes on an electric drill, with some of that "Mother's" stuff. I can't imagine spending hours and hours and hours and all that elbow grease to polish wheels.

Yep. Although Chip's one of the few goofballs I know that would buy a car turnkey, and then rip everything out of it down to a shell, and re-do everything.
![]() Griffith is next! LOL
