This.......

and besides , the newer cars don't exhibit anywhere NEAR the "cool factor" of the older cars.

I don't think it is a question of NHRA allowing them. It's a matter of the OEM submitting the specifications for the guides. No OEM specifications, no place in the guides.

Any thoughts on. Why they will not supply OEM specs? I wouldn't think it would be hard to generate these specs and it certainly wouldn't hurt to put some standard GT,RT and SS out there on Sunday .

I have wrote complete specs for showroom Challengers with stock motors. I think NHRA will implement them next year. Worked on this with Mopar and NHRA. Titles, VIN, and all the stuff.

Jeff, you already know how I feel about this and I hope you succeed in getting this done. Maybe this might shame the other two into doing the same. Hopefully they will eventually include more than just Challengers, Mustangs and Camaros.

Jeff, I'd like to see what spec's you put together for the "stock" Challengers. I have quite a bit of info that could be helpful.

It is cool to see how fast these cars are going.

That being said I really don't think it's right that the ones running in Stock are faster than 95% of the Super Stock cars. I'm talking ETs in general.

8 second ETs at 150+ in Stock is insane. Cars that fast should be in Super Stock.
