Happy 80th Birthday! I have not met you but if I did I would ask you for your suggestions on how to live a long and full life. What would you do more and less? I will understand if you do not respond on this topic on the Internet in which case I hope to ask you in person someday! Once again Happy Birthday!

Hey Doug,
I think Pete would say Stay Slim, Do what you Love ( Drag Racing ) and always wear a really big smile. He truly is an inspiration!

Have a wonderful day Pete!

Best Wishes
Rick

Not too long ago during the last points meet, Pete was sharing his beliefs for living a long and pleasant life. He mentioned things like having a great family, a wife that has supported his endeavors throughout the years and the love of his children and grand kids.
Also spoke about healthy eating, that must include Chocolate and an occasional shot of Crown Royal.

Pete has a legacy in this sport and may be the current drag racer with the most years in this sport. In addition to racing in the Sportsman Classes with Oldsmobile's, Pete also campaigned with his brother Bill, a Chevy powered Pontiac Astre in the early days of Pro Stock.
