I ordered lots of stuff back in 2009 when building my car, no problems getting my stuff.

Depending on what you ordered, if it was a custom order it might take 10 days to 2 weeks to be fabricated and shipped to you. I ordered a roll-cage for my wagon just recently, which was a special, and it arrived about 2 weeks after I placed my order. You should be able to trace yours by your customer or order number.

Hope this helps!

I deal with them on a regular basis . never had any issues with in stock items. and as others have said , custom fabbed parts may take a little extra such as rollbars that have to bent, or custom rears subframes ect. also it's pretty standard to bill you in advance on a custom or special order parts. I wouldn't be to worried they are a stand-up company.

I've never dealt with S&W that I remember but it's a pet peeve of mine when you place an order and they immediately charge your card and don't ship. I ordered a set of wheels from Bogart about 4 weeks ago and they didn't charge me until the day they shipped. I believe that is how it should be.

I ordered a set of wheelie bars late night before last. They emailed me yesterday with the order info but no shipping info. So I responded and within minutes they responded again and wrote that they would ship out yesterday or today. I have bought a bunch of stuff from them over the years and never a problem. Call and ask for Tom Hoosigian or Randy Krause and I am sure they will find out whats going on and get back to you quickly. They always treat me right.

Kenny and I have used them for years...from comp stuff to stocker components and have never had a problem. That's not the way the normally operate. Some of the components certainly take longer...they always give us a heads-up on the situation....but product is always better than expected.

S&W has always been good to go for me. Never any foolishness from them.

On the other issue, if it is a standard, on the shelf item, that's fine. But on a custom, one off item, I wouldn't build anything for someone I didn't have a history with, not without at least a substantial deposit in my pocket. Too many people these days writing checks with their mouth that their azz can't cash. Places can't afford to spend time and material on something to end up in the scrap pile or given away. Nothing personal, just the way it is.

And the flip side of that is you pay someone for a custom made part up front to cover their costs and then you never get it. I am currently going down this road myself with a custom made engine part that was gaurenteed to be here by a certain date and its still not here. Now the clown wont pick up the phone when I call cause he cannot make the part and does not have the money to give back. Its a two way street that for some reason keeps getting longer and longer. If you want to see another more expensive example go to the Lancaster county Nebraska court system and search my name. I bought what was supposed to be a new super stock legal backhalf chassis the week after thanksgiving in 2011. Gave a deposit and had a contract for the deal and was to have the car no later than the end of the first week of 2012. After way to much BS I Finally had to go out there and sue won my case this time last year. Still have not been paid so now I need to start the process of garnishing wages and seizing assets. I am in no hurry as I was granted interest plus increased costs if I have to continue on and goto court again. But its another example of why people don't want to put out up front money. There are way way way too many crooks coming into our sport and the world in general. And the courts don't want to put them where they belong when they crook people and get caught.
