You cant compare NASCAR to nhra--in any form--its like NFL vs.- pee-wee football--any pro nhra driver would kill to make the $$$$$$ that nascar drivers make

You in fact can compare all organizations in one way: how well do they enforce their rules? Whether it's NASCAR, NHRA, or a demolition derby, there are rules in place, and how they are enforced, if at all, is a major measuring stick to the integrity of that series.

Who says you can't compare NASCAR to NHRA? Kyle refers to the 1000 foot mark as "coming out of turn four"

Aren't you impressed that I had the foresight to put the bottle in the passenger door.

The damage wouldn't be so bad if Jeff Strickland's sticker sheets were a bit more durable. They didn't hold up for ****. I barely touched the wall.

Hey Kyle,
Sorry about ya little mishap there, I never like to see or hear about a sweet car being wrecked. Just how bad is it? Can ya fix what ya have or do ya need a new one? Do have some more pics for us that don't do Facebook? How the heck are ya doing with the medical recovery, are ya swinging a baseball bat yet?

Thanks for the well wishes, Bernie. The picture was taken at Craig Anderson's body shop. He looked it over and felt it was entirely fixable. He will be getting on it soon. The motor and driveline appears to be untouched except for maybe the rear end.
The cage kept it from being critically damaged, but it also gave me a bigger blow. Unk has some pics and I will see if I can get him to post them. I felt like I was a 100% earlier this week. The ribs have reconnected and I started back to exercising. That made me realize I wasn't all the way back. Maybe a couple more weeks then it's on! |

You just gave me a thought. I think I will wrap the entire car. It won't look like the same car, but it is purely an optical illusion.
Trust me. |
