Why would he want to make it "legal"? So he can have a bunch of other racers cry about how bogus his car is and how awful the new cars are? Then he could deal with all the glory of NHRA Sportsman drag racing too...  Why would he want that? And besides that, don't you think the Tasca's could have the fastest "legal" car if they wanted to? If anyone can have the best of the best people involved with their program it would be them.

I agree with what you are saying. It was the statement "pretty close". I don't care how close or far away they are from legal. Carl just wants to make a statement and he has. If you throw enough money and time at any combination, it will go faster. The Hemi guys understand this. It's the "pretty close to legal" that got me. The CJ's potential is unbelieveable and they don't break. I rest my case.
