Dustin, on the NHRA website, look for the link at the top that says "rules", under that you'll see the stock car classification guide, and the engine blueprint specifications. In the engine blueprint specifications you'll see what castings you can use, and what the specifications are. In the classification guide you'll see what the NHRA HP ratings are. I'd say that if you can use the aluminum heads, it'll increase the NHRA HP rating.

Im just not seeing it in the mess of numbers on that page. I see volumes and intake#'s and such. we are building a 454 450 horse combo any help is appreciated.

Not positive but the casting numbers I have for a 1970 454/450 LS6 Chevelle/Malibu engine are as follows
Block---3963512
Cylinder head--3964291 or 3964292
Camshaft---3863143
Crankshaft---3963523
Intake manifold--3963569
