Default Re: Nitroplater Stk/SS Shootout at Numidia - Sept 13th & 14t

Here are the rules for this event. I took some of the idea's that Brian & Lee used in the Combo in the Hills event and with some help from Dave Ley I'm able to present these rules.

¼ mile event

The correct class designation and minimum weight is to be on the car before the first time trial.

There will be no co-drivers / no double entries.

IHRA cars are welcome, if the car can crossover to NHRA (i.e. NHRA H/SA vs. IHRA H/SA) the IHRA car must meet NHRA rules and indexes.

Random pairings for 1st round only 2nd round and on will go off of a ladder determined by reation time in the 1st round.

If there is an un-even amount of cars for 1st round the best reaction time in the 2nd Qualifying Shot will get the bye-run .

On the Bye-run you are required to take the tree, but can break the beam and back out.

HEADS UP RUNS

No Heads-up runs. All Cars must dial on or under the national index for their class

Tech Committee has the right to inspect at any time (to be class legal)

Lane Choice will be determined by coin flip or driver agreement. If the cars are un-even in the lanes we will pair from front to back with the car in the front getting the chosen lane.
