Here it is at Seattle in '76.

Lingenfelter's Corvette in SS/LA or MA was under the OLD weight breaks. At the time my '65 Chevelle 283 Wagon was a SS/RA car. Under the new (and current) weights it's SS/NA. So you can't really compare it to todays SS/LA cars.

As far as the early 60,s corvette Lingenfelter and his partner from Kansas did have a early corvette superstocker, .Cant rememder his name, A friend of mine bought the car and we picked it up at O-Malleys shop .We raced the car in SS/MA with a 283 , The carb was the problem . It was a very neat racecar for back then .......

You were better off with the 245 hp 2x4 combo, or the 250 hp FI

If you were to run the FI combination, could you use the newer style stuff? (TPI)? or would that move over to GT? Thanks

Actually, the FI referred to Stock cars.

I still don't think they know what's the plenum, the manifold, the adapter etc, in regard to changing it for S/S.
Tony Janes knows more about that.

If the 2 carb deal came that year that would be the way to go. Ron Talors 57 post car runs good with the two carbs, are the specs the same? Any intake in superstock but it has to have the stock opening or trottle body not sure what the old feul injection looks like,Tom
