I am sorry to see any race car damaged like this. Just glad to see no one was hurt. As i see it, seems that there is way too much power for these cars running on the 9" tire. These cars should be running on 12" tires and even running in Super Stock. A lot of guys will not agree with that comment.
Take a look at the in car video, you can see and tach and hear the engine get to the point of no return. The driver stayed in it way too long. This is just my opinion. We all have made runs that we should have aborted. The track prep may have played a roll into the mishap. I have been on tracks at test N tunes and the back half of the track is not sprayed. You will leave the line normally and 3rd and 4th gear the car gets real loose. Data system will confirm way too much tire spin.

Seems he turned the steering wheel to the right when he was in the air. That surely didn't help.

Looks like the car went left at the hit if you look at the last video of it--He definately turned the wheel right also listen to the engine sounds like he either is on off the throttle or it is spinning the tires plus looking at the way everybody is bundled up probably a cold track too did'nt help either---FED387

track coulda been some of the problem.... but, he stayed in it way too long... he had to be feeling the car goin that way, or he wouldnt have been turning the wheel(in hopes he could bring it back with the wheels off the ground...)... I know we all have done stupid stuff, but, gotta be able to make a split second decision on when to lift, or not to lift... glad nobody was hurt... im sure the car will be fixed...maybe keep them on the ground, instead of gettin out of control...unfortunately, that would have helped

How did that car lift the front end like that? My experience level is low in cars like this but that really surprised me. I didn't think the small blower cars would do that. If I was driving I would have bailed as soon as I started seeing the sky through the windshield.
