Cool Re: Tibor Kadar entry for Indy

Yes my friend Tibor will drive my Fairlane in Bowling Green and Indy. I've raced SS for years with a trans-brake and I need some time to be a consistent foot-brake racer. The car has only been to 2 races so far, won "Best Engineered" at both races. It probably won't be the fastest A/SA car there, but I'm sure we won't embarrass ourselves. Blair Patrick built the 427 Hi-riser, and it makes good HP numbers. It should be fun!

Thanks for the info Tom; with a Blair Patrick engine, you will be fine. I will be at Indy for all 6 days; hope to see you bright and early on Wednesday Aug. 29!

Tim, that's great to hear! Every year, I get the 6 day Super Seat general admission ticket; it costs $163, but if you bought 6 individual tickets, they would cost $213, so you save $50. I sit at the 330' cone on the Pro Pit side of the track, and that is general admission.

Any bets that the rod size is more than .070" undersize of the NHRA spec of 2.438" on the FE Ford. All in all it is a cool car with a great driver.

Mr. Hill, you could invest some of your Norwalk winnings to take a look at the bearing sizes. Besides it could be fun to see if the NHRA cherry picker can handle the weight of an FE Ford motor. Wasn't it not that long ago that it wasn't able to lift a big block Chevy out of a Camaro at Indy?
