Default Re: in line stop compared to under the carb stop...

Anyone run baseplate stop with Ron's flying toilet injection with alcohol? Already have 9.20 car on alky with rons toilet and works great. Also have a dedenbaer plate from another car. Thinking of going super gas or Super street racing with this combo. Already have air shifter, so adding inline stop is not that great a cost. What should I do?

With your combo I think the only thing that will work is an inline stop.

I ran a one stop for years and loved it. Then I changed intakes and didn't have enough room in scoop for base stop. I changed to a linkage stop air on air off because there wasn't enough time to redue scoop. I shift on time .200 after stop comes on. I'm on stop 2.5 to 3 seconds in good air stopping at 4500 rpm. The rpm is rock solid won't change any. I have been doing this 5 years now. I always perfered the base stop but the inlines can also be just as competitive. Also I turn my stop into a starting line enhancer when bracket racing.
