Listens guys, I know this happens at that races, but that was not an issue at this race contrary to what was reported. There was no punishment for not showing up in a timely manner. The reason we were moved was simple, lots of oil downs and a few cars that hit the wall.
Please give it a rest, thank you. |

With all do respect Chuck, we will have to agree to disagree. Stock was called to the lanes late, it was a cold morning. What ever the official told you was his opinion and not fact. Not sure what track you were at, but there was a lot of down time with oil downs and accidents. Stock being late to the lanes was not the reason. I know many of you are upset with the practice of coming to the lanes late, its been done for decades, its part of racing. It does not bother me one way or the other, last first or in between.
Lets keep this thread a live report, not what a racer likes or dislike. You have two reports, mine and Chuck’s, decide for yourself on what happened. You would think more people would be interested in the mishap Randy Wilkes had than arguing about being late to the lanes.... go figure. I did get a chance to talk to Randy for anyone who is interested. The car only scraped the nose, he did a great job of not hitting me or the wall hard. Randy had a wheel cylinder seize up. |
