Suspension set up Chevelle

Ok I just got the scales and it is 2900# and 3100# with driver. The corner weight with driver are LF 897# RF 827# LR 688# RR 688# .That is 55% up front and 45% in the rear. As for stiction I have new control arms and properly lubricated. I had a local chassis builder order the springs and I think they are the proper ones. I am still researching the way to set proper ride height.

Call Alf Wiebe in Vancouver B.C. he is the man on coil spring suspension. There's a trick to them cars....and he knows it. I use his set up on my 84 Camaro stocker (with coil springs) and it works. Hope this helps.

Well Rob just don't get hung up on getting it to low. While it may look cool the lower you get the center of gravity the more difficult it is to make tithe car pitch rotate and for pro tree racing you definately want it to pitch rotate as quick as possible.
