Yeah, it's crazy. It took them a whole 3 seconds from the initial impact to flip on their lights and start rolling. And that's just what we can see on the video, they were probably rolling a few seconds sooner. That's what you call a long time?

Angry Re: Vegas mishap

I was at this race and it was the worst race I have ever been too . The track was not in good shape at anytime . There were several other wreck as well as this one and the Garret turbo car went over the wall . Glad the driver is ok but very poor management at PSCA.

There was a rumor going around the track that the promoter ran out of funds for track prep and clean up . The more days the race went on the worst it got . I did not finish my last time run and left saturday afternoon .

No qualifying sheets , nobody new what was going on . I heard from several people working the event that this was their last

We should be thank full for what NHRA does for us , if you dont believe it just go to one of these races . At one point it took 4 hr's to run 54 car's

I was there racing and yes, Saturday it took 3 hours to run pro street and 10.5 class. Everybody was on the ragged edge and some stuff got blowed up and a little got bent. It happens at every race. The track personnel did as good a job as they could. The weather didn't co-operate, it was cold, we had a little sprinkle but all in all it was a good wekend and the race got in. You gotta remember those guys are the pros in their organization and they blow up just like the pros in nhra. Stuff happens.

I hate to say this as vegas Is My favorite track to race at ,,but, but it seems that the last three years or so the decision makers have over looked the condition of the track and wait until a car crashes to either re prepp the track or cancel the races until the next day .

In my opinion if this is happening at every race some one is doing some thing wrong.
