Such a sad day for the IHRA racing family. Gil was such a great person, racer and supporter of his family. He will truely be missed by all. Our prayers are w/ Sandy, Homer, and Chelsea during this difficult time from the Robbins family.

My heart goes out to Homer, Chelsey and Sandy. I as well as many others on this site have walked your road. The road will be bumpy but we all know the true source of strength, courage and guidance does not lie our abilities but in that of our creator and the one who sustains us.... Jesus Christ. Gil was a great friend to us. We will certainly lift you up in our prayers.

We all will miss Gil Sr. May God bring his family comfort and strength to carry on. Gil Sr. is in Heaven, where race cars will never break and we are all winners.
