Back in the '70s my '65 250hp 327" '65 Chevelle convert liked it about 1/2 MPH worth. (4GC)

Last summer we purchased an original Corvette (69 427-390 hp) quadrajet base and compared it to "nothing'....Nothing was faster by over a hundredth. Lost it in high gear.... Anybody need an air cleaner base.......

Jeff, there have been more emails to remove it than to keep it. I guess it depends on tuneup.
I have 3 bases for sale one illegal and 2 legal, lol

I run my car with the air cleaner on.....doesnt effect et one bit. Also thanks for keeping entouch during our epping nightmare.see you @ atco....lets MANGIA JOE |

It also depends on how close your carb sits from the backside of the hood, too.
