Terry,

Just as with my '50 Olds, you can probably get an engine with a 6-71 on it under the stock hood. No need for a scoop.

Yeah but some guys would stick one on anyway. Look at all of the bracket cars and .90 cars that have one when the carb dosent even meet the hood line....LOL.

I have seen that car run for years at the Div 7 opener here in Phoenix. I have always loved this car.
I took these in 04 I think. Here is what's NOT under the hood scoop! LOL!

Mine too Hawk, and after last years Super Gas and Super Stock finals, if he can get away with it why not? It still amazes me that tires start a race, but ground effects with/without nose diving can trip the finish line...all older cars should be able to use them (in all classes with bodied vehicles)!
