Walter Ritchie (Silver State Chassis) passes.

It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I must report that Walter Ritchie
passed away from complications of diabetes. He was the owner of Silver State Chassis of Nevada and the builder(pretty much front to back) of the Demon and Duster that I have raced for most of the last 20 years. Until the last couple of years when we got old and tired, Walter and his family accompanied our family throughout the Western Swing most every year. About 10 years ago he moved his shop back to Fort Collins Colo. He was a widower and he leaves two teenage orphans who need your prayers. He taught me more about Drag Racing, as well as how a man conducts himself, than anyone I have met in the last 20 years.
