they are using the lucas oil points structure, c/sa had 10 cars at charlotte and the points were awarded as follows
winner 85 points
runner up 64 points
lose in the semifinals 42 points
lose in the quarterfinals 31 points
the points structure is the same for the single car class eliminations with the exception of the bonus points
looks like there will be a number of drivers tied for the championship
the first tie breaker will be the number of class wins
the second tie breaker is head to head
charlie was not sure what the next tie breaker was
i dont think the first two will factor in at all, but we will see

Since the single class cars all get thrown together and race to a single winner why would they not get the same points. If I read that correct say you have two g/sa's the winner of the run gets 85 points. And you have 8 single class cars the winner of the single class cars goes 3 rounds and gets 80 points. Or am I miss reading something.
if I ever make it back out I have nothing to worry about any class I run is usually well populated. And I have no chance of winning unless every one redlights.
