I think its funny as hell and wish there were more guys like them running the new cars, although I am sure everyone else with the same combo would like to strangle them
If they were "real racers" then they wouldnt want to strangle the ones who have the b##ls to run the combos hard. They are STILL way soft. Whats the big deal about being placed into S/S only ? Its a hell of a lot safer and more consistant running on 14 inch tires than a 9 inch tire at those speeds with that kind of power. Besides they can still kick just about everyones azz heads up in the S/S class they will be place in while still running a stock engine and chassis. I just dont see the point of being able to run 1.80+ under as long as your still able to out run your competition heads up . Maybe it because they like beating up the 9 year olds on the play ground like Mike Carr mentioned....LOL.

Question Re: Will The 2008 CJ Stick Remain In Stock?

If NHRA will not (by how there rules are writen...ha ha), let that CJ run in stock all that has to happen in Ford submit a letter stating that a cam or a pulley has been found in the trunk of one of the CJ's, but was never installed, and once it was, it "lowered" the hp by lets say 20hp. Ta-da that CJ combo is back in the game. If Ford wants to keep that combo in stock I see NHRA creating another weight break for them and eventually the DP's.. I think they need a "Top Stock" all the new cars AA,A and B, CJ's and DP's be put in the class with a 10.20 index and let them see who the real big dog is. I would watch that...

Think about this....
C J's & D P's Already have new small engine combos with low hp to take the others place when they hp out of stock.
So they still will have stock entries for a while.
these new smaller engines have more classes left to hp into....
That makes sense ,don't it ?
