So do we have any update on car counts? I can't believe with all the complaining about NHRA and cars that are parked that we can't get this done.

Per a chat I had with both Bernie & Skooter last week, I'm the only one who's turned in my name, competition number, and car class to Skooter (so far)...they're not asking for a pre -entry financial commitment (like they were for another class---Top Dragster if I recall correctly), but there's no mention on what the entry fee would be, scale or no scale, fuel check or no fuel check....? I hope this happens, but the 15th is closing in fast, so I don't know.....all who are still REALLY interested need to either call Bernie @ S.I.R. (520) 762-9700, Skooter Peaco @ IHRA (419) 660-4217, or Kenny Newsome @ (480) 949-8227. It's up to us.....

This is all I have heard from and been able to confirm with. 10-11 cars is all. We need 16. Too many people are going to Vegas or are not traveling @ all. We have til monday to get the rest or no program. I have tried everything. I got additional purse money and everything and we cant get more cars? I understand money is tight. I dont know what else to do. Please post or E-mail me if I do not have you on the list. Thank you.
P.S. Where are the Super Stock guys?? only one out of 11?

Thanks Kenny, as you see I added myself to your list too, but I'm disheartened that you haven't heard from another 4-5 racers around here (geez, Vic would be coming here from SoCal, so I don't get it...I can think of 2 others (and one other possibility), who live in the valley but are not on this list (the 2 were on the last list you had)...they must be headed 'Vegas way???
