NOPE....first or worse, the way it should be. If you think there is an advantage having the faster car, then that is what you should race.....everyone knows what the rules are.

Since this isn't such a good topic, lets add no reaction times or increments down track. Casey Miles Why would you want to do that ? would'nt that be like "old Drag racing" ? Leave it alone ,there is a lot more to worry about than re- inventing drag racing!!!!!

This very thing happened to me last weekend. And if i had been green i would have won . It's my fault i went red PERIOD! Why change anything butt, the amount of time we practice. Why do some (,that wen't in that race ) feel the need to change anything. Practice more complain less.

I personally think that if you are going to care enough to complaine about this issue, then you arent going to win many races anyway. Redlights dont win.

Coming from a racer who leaves first 98% of the time,I like the way it is. Knowing what the rules were 27 years ago it made me become a better racer in my early days of handicap racing. If you don`t like to leave first, build a faster car.

Well said. 85 % of the time I bracket race, I have the slower car. That fact alone has forced me to spend more time with a practice tree. There are advantages to having a faster car, and there are advantages to having a slower car. I just had to learn how to win with a slower car. It's all equal.

Let me understand this correctly: You actually like the fact, that your opponent may not have to to take a shot at the tree?
I would then presume you would not like it at all if your opponent always had to take a shot at the tree? You would feel guilty if a faster car lost, only because they had a worst foul start than your own? |
