69 Camaro Eliminator

Last week at Bradenton, Brien Radley came up to me in the third round and told me there were 11 cars left, 1 station wagon, me, and the rest were Camaros. I lost, but I stuck better than any one of them.

So you don't have one Mark?

Probably the most versatle car in racing. They hold the value well also. Maybe we can run the Austrailian version for a different look. Too bad Buick or Olds didn't make one for their version like Pontiac...... I have to admit... There are a bunch of them.

'70-71 Plymouth Barracudas and Dodge Challengers where available with every engine that Chrysler offered.
Slant Six, 318, 340, 383, 440 and HEMI.

i think the new cars have a long long way to go and a ton of wins yet before they dethrone the 69 camaro in drag racing.i have been at indy before when 60% of the feild was made up of red camaros....the new cars have a place and are neat cars ,but far from an icon like the 69,yet..

could be worse. It could be super comp, 160 "engines on a stick". I'd need a horn and a remote (like keyless entry) to figure out which one was mine in the lanes.
