I saw that flex plate shield requirement. Where do you find one? I already have SFI trans shield and an SFI flex plate, can't find anything available for a flex plate shield other than mid-plates with shield attached. If I drop a class I could dodge that & Dodge DragPaks in one move. LOL!

Ed, I've seen on a other forum ,someone said the CSR trans vest will clear a Metric 200.
I cant vouch for that , but I do have a CSR bellhousing shield for a PG from my Willys that I will check to see if it fits a Metric.
The CSR is the closest fitting shield made to my knowledge, altho F bodies have no room to spare.
I would use the TCI mid plate and just trim it down to the outside diminsions of the case, IF it fits inside the Metric bell.

Tom, I have a T350. Almost no room. I did see the TCI mid plate, guess I need to talk to Wesley to see if trimming off the outter mid plate part would pass.

Ed, as long as the area inside of the bolt holes is unmodified ,its good . ..Just make sure to keep the SFI tag on it.
I've used a few of them, and you have to trim them to fit the width of the chassis, so trimming down to the block is ok.
I used one on a BROGIE roadster, and the frame rails on those cars are so narrow, a Dedenbear case wont even fit between them without some grinding!

Talking Re: Gloves and trans shields

I thought gloves were already required at 9.99. I learned something new today.

Thanks for the help guys. I have a JW Ultrabell on my trans, so it looks like I am covered there.
